Executive Director (MA. Human Rights)
Mr. Moses Ntenga is the Founder & Director of Joy for Children, an advocacy & action Center championing the rights of all Children to live peacefully & without exploitation, to benefit from quality free education, to thrive in economic security, and to prosper with access to clean water, good health care, & nutrition.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Adult and Community Education, a Diploma in project planning and Management of Makerere University and a Certificate in Administrative Officers Law Course. She has 8 years experience working with children and young people in areas of economic empowerment, financial inclusion, Gender based violence and violence against children and protection.
Before joining Joy for Children in January 2018, Jennifer worked with BRAC Uganda as a Project Manager End child marriage under the Empowerment and Livelihood for Adolescents Programme (ELA) which is a proven social and economic empowerment model that uses community based interventions to attain stable and sustainable livelihoods for vulnerable adolescents and their families.
Erina manages the Girl Advocacy Alliance project and advocacy work around it.
She holds a Masters degree in Local governance and human rights of Uganda Martyrs University and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science of Makerere University. Erina has a 13 year experience in advocacy work. Before joining Joy for Children, Erina worked with RIDE Africa as Deputy Executive Director.
KOBUSINGE JOY DIANA
Diana joined JFCU in September 2015. At JFCU, she implements the Promoting Violence Against Children Prevention Centres project in Kabarole district as a project officer. She carries out regular visits to the field to understand ground situations and takes necessary actions for improvement in quality of work with actors in the community. She also responds to cases of VAC and makes sure that referrals are made in time.
Before joining JFCU, Diana worked at Foundation for Rural Development as a Project officer. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Social Sciences from Kyambogo University, a certificate in Computer Applications and a certificate in human rights promotion and protection from Human Rights Uganda.
Peace works as the Project and Assistant Programme officer at Joy for Children Uganda. She also leads and supervises the implementation of the Kampala Slum Women Development Project. She holds a Bachelors Degree of Social Sciences from Makerere University. Peace acquired reproductive health skills from Reproductive Health Uganda (RHU) where she did her internship before joining Joy for Children later in 2014.
