I am a girl who likes education but I lost my father when I was in p3 and my mother has a challenge of looking after 12 children and most of them did not get a chance to go to school.
I am almost dropping out of school due to the school dues, my mother can only afford to pay the little or half of school fees and the balance is left without being paid. My future plan is to continue with my education and become a nurse. I have got a school requirements like school fees, shoes, school uniform, books, pens, and others therefore am requesting for your assistance.

The Primary Element of our Model:
A Girl is Given the Gift of a Goat -- in Return for Attending School.
She then breeds the Goat and sells the Offspring at our Goat Market to gain School Fees – the goat becomes a continual source of income to pay for school fees in JFCU’s self-sustaining model.

Community Leadership - first, we listen to the Community, then begin a dialogue, raise Awareness on the value of girls education & delaying marriage, advocate for new or upheld laws, offer trainings & education which Result in A Change in Actions, Values & Perspectives.
Boys & Girls Clubs - a safe place to discuss traditional practices & common beliefs & learn new facts & gain new perspectives Result in A Change in Values.
Good Schools: The Rights of Children to a Violence free School are discussed & Teachers are Rewarded for different approaches. Result: Change in School Atmosphere & Practices which support children.
Farms for Schools: Hungry kids can’t concentrate. In the tradition of US Pres Kennedy a School Lunch program also creates a simple economy in the community: Farmers & school-based Cooks are paid to grow & cook food. Result: circulation of $$ within the community & well fed children who now have the appetite to learn.
Skills Training for Boys: Boys are taught simple construction skills on-the-job building much needed washrooms for Girls; they are rewarded with chickens which they can breed to obtain school fees.
Boys learn to support Girls Needs in Education, learn vital skills, obtain a means to pay for school which Results in A Change in Boy-Girl Relationship & School Attendance
